Robert's first encounter with 3D software was in 1999, using a DOS version of Autocad. From here, his love for the craft evolved into a lifelong quest to recreate every type of locale imaginable. Upon completing his Master's degree in Cinematic Production and initially working in the film industry as a Camera Assistant, he then moved into the world of Architectural Visualisation; creating environments and facsimiles of long lost heritage, before finally realising the vast potential of VFX tools such as Unreal Engine and Houdini.

The main goal of his work is in the creation of memorable atmosphere and immersion, using whichever tools are most suited to the job at hand. While this usually takes significant technical knowledge to accomplish, the primary purpose is always to produce an immersive, atmospheric end result.
